VZW & RedBox

RedBox is more than a movie rental station. There are all kinds of things going on inside. Inventory reporting, rental trends, and the all-important financial recording. All of this is done with the solid foundation of, you guessed it, the Verizon Wireless network. If an owner/operator wants to know the status of any number of their RedBoxes, a few taps of the smartphone is all it takes. Secure information at the fingertip...it's no wonder those boxes are red.

VZW & UPS

A woman is at her office and is eagerly awaiting a package from her friendly UPS delivery person. She logs onto UPS.com and sees that her husband signed for the package 20 minutes ago at home. How does she know that? Verizon Wireless, that's how. Every time a package is scanned, picked-up or delivered, UPS relies on the secure and extremely speedy network of Verizon Wireless.

The Verizon Wireless Call Center

So, Verizon Wireless has this building which, from the outside, is pretty modest. But inside, it houses some of the finest wireless experts in the country. Not only are the employees experts, the people in THIS building are the BEST IN THE COUNTRY in providing customer service and tech support, keeping our customers happy and always coming back. HEY, THAT'S YOU!!

VZW & Wind Turbines

Do we have anything to do with these turbines? Actually, no. But we do just as much for the environment! The Lincoln Call Center focused on recycling for a week last year. During that time we sent over 2000 lbs. (yes, a TON!) of paper to the recyclers and that saved about 23 trees. Not bad for the state where Arbor Day was created.

VZW & I-80

Have you ever noticed the contruction on I-80? Probably. But how do you think all of those people, from the project manager to the guy pouring the cement, stay in touch and on top of the ever changing weather? Verizon Wireless, that's how.

The Capitol Building

For nearly 80 years, the sower on top of the Capitol Building in downtown Lincoln has been sowing seeds over the city. But for the last five months, he has been throwing the 4G signal over Lincoln and Omaha, with more coverage to come.

VZW & St. Elizabeth Hospital

The power of Verizon Wireless is spreading like wildfire across Lincoln in the form of tablet use in hospitals. Doctors, nurses, and even the administrative staff puts 4G to good use on iPads, Xooms and XYboards.

VZW & Haymarket Park

When people gather, VZW springs into action. When Haymarket Park is full with Husker fans or Saltdog fans, the 4G network can be altered to accomodate the need for access inside the ballpark.

VZW & THE NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS

Did you know that during every home Husker game, VZW places two COLTs (Cell on Light Truck) outside of Memorial Stadium to bring 4G service to the 77,000 fans inside? Whether you need to be reached during the game, or upload photos of the action to Facebook, VZW has you covered.
